Frank Farina
President & Founder of SWIS in 2009
Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician

Prior to 2009, Frank studied Trade Electricity at B.O.C.E.S. He subsequently enlisted in the US Army and served in an Armor Battalion where he specialized in trouble shooting the electrical systems on tanks and recovery vehicles. He received an honorable discharge in 1979 at the rank of Sergeant. After returning state-side, Frank began his civilian career collaborating with several contractors in numerous capacities. In 1987, he founded Millennium Electrical Contracting Co., Inc. which he operated for over 20 years.

In 2008, Frank obtained his IAEI Certificates in 1 & 2 Family, General, and Plan Review. Thereafter, State Wide Inspection Services, Inc., (SWIS) and SWIS Training LLC commenced operations.

Today, State Wide Inspections Services, Inc. conducts electrical inspections throughout Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester and Rockland Counties.

SWIS Training, LLC, staffed by certified instructors, provides those in the electrical trade industry with the education needed to move forward and in keeping abreast of current requirements.

Frank is the former President of the IAEI Westchester Chapter, a IAEI Eastern Section delegate and current member of the IAEI and NFPA.

Frank lives with his wife, Janice Farina, in Fishkill and has three children.

Janice Farina
Vice President – joined SWIS in 2011

Janice has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Iona College and has 15 years of commercial banking experience. She oversees the company’s daily operations and all internal and external accounts.

Janice lives with her husband Frank Farina, in Fishkill and has three children.

Fred Morello
Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician – joined SWIS in 2011

Fred studied Electrical Technology at Westchester Community College. Thereafter, he became the founder of Morello Electric, an electrical and construction company. Fred holds multiple licenses in New York and Connecticut and was later compelled to make a career change to fulfill his dedication to inspection safety.

Fred has been a certified IAEI (NCPCCI) electrical inspector for 35 years and is a Master Electrical Inspector. He is a member of the NFPA and IAEI, is a New York State Code Enforcement Official and presides as secretary-treasurer for the IAEI Westchester Chapter.

Fred and his wife, Diane, reside in Poughquag. They have three children.

Christopher Farina
Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician – joined SWIS in 2010

Chris studied at SUNY Oneonta. He is New York State Code Enforcement Official and holds his IAEI certificates in 1 & 2 Family Dwelling, General, and Plan Review. Chris is also a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI).

After years of working in the field and in the office of SWIS, Chris was driven to enter the electrical inspection arena where he could focus on Safety Compliance.

Chris is a resident of Wappingers Falls, New York.

Jaime Jarufe
Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician – joined SWIS in 2021

Jamie completed his university degree in Chile where he grew up. In 1980, his first book was published on electrical wiring in residential, commercial, and industrial areas. He was then sponsored to work for a notable electrical company in the US and in 2013, became the founder of Jaime Electric, inc.

Jaime went on to complete his IAEI certification, General, 1 and 2 Family Dwellings, Plan Review and Master Inspector certification (CEI-M).

Jaime and his wife, Nela, reside in Hartsdale. They have 2 children.

Steve Morello
Assistant Vice President- joined SWIS in 2013

Steven studied business administration at Dutchess Community College. Steven provides all aspects of customer service and assists in all daily departmental operations and is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI).

Steven is a resident of Wappingers Falls. He enjoys winter sports and traveling.

Michael Morales
Office Manager – joined SWIS in 2019

Michael has a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland and has administrative and computer technology experience. Michael provides all aspects of customer service and assists in all daily department operations including the upkeep of the SWIS website.

Michael and his wife, Marlana, reside in Putnam Valley with their Scottish Terrier.

Jean Marie LaSorsa
SWIS Training Administrative Manager – joined SWIS in 2011

Jean Marie has over 30 years of IT and web-based training experience. She manages the SWIS Training Division and the SWIS Training Website.

Jean Marie resides in Harrison. She has four children and four grandchildren.

Janice Prine
Administrative Assistant – joined SWIS in 2021

Janice has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mercy College.

Prior to joining SWIS, she enjoyed a 32-year career with IBM. Janice provides all aspects of customer service and assists in all daily departmental operations.

Janice resides in Fishkill and has three children.

Judy Bartush
Administrative Assistant – joined SWIS in 2022

Judy received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz. She worked for the Butterfield Library for over twenty years as the office manager and bookkeeper before joining SWIS.

Judy and her husband, Tom, reside in Fishkill. They have two daughters.

Diana Camurovski
Administrative Assistant – joined SWIS in 2023

Diana received her Associates of Science degree from Bergen Community College.

Prior to joining the SWIS team she worked for Steinway & Sons, Paramus, for over
10 years as the Administrative Assistant.

Diana resides in the Town of Poughkeepsie with her Fiancé, Bryan, and her two daughters. She enjoys photography and traveling with her family.

Jennifer Jenkins
Administrative Assistant – joined SWIS in 2023

Prior to joining the SWIS Team, Jennifer worked for 10 years in the Engineering Department for the City of Syracuse administering Right-Of-Way permitting.

After relocating to Dutchess County, she was an administrative assistant on a US Army Corps of Engineers Super Fund Project and a Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency Project.

Jennifer lives with her husband, Don, in Hopewell Junction. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her extended family.
