Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician

Christopher Farina became President of State Wide Inspection Services, Inc. in 2024, continuing the company’s commitment to professional and reliable electrical inspections across Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, and Rockland Counties. A New York State Code Enforcement Official and certified electrical inspector with IAEI credentials in One- and Two-Family Dwelling, General, and Plan Review, he also serves as Membership Chair and Board Member of the IAEI Westchester Chapter. In addition to leading SWIS, Christopher teaches through the SWIS Training division, combining hands-on experience with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and education.

Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician

Frank Farina founded State Wide Inspection Services, Inc. in 2009 after more than two decades running Millennium Electrical Contracting Co., Inc. and earning multiple IAEI certifications. A U.S. Army veteran and longtime leader in the trade, he served as President of SWIS until 2024, when he stepped down to focus on the company’s training division. Today, Frank continues to perform inspections across Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, and Rockland Counties while also teaching through SWIS Training, LLC, and remains active with the IAEI and NFPA.

Steven studied business administration at Dutchess Community College. Steven provides all aspects of customer service and assists in all daily departmental operations and is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI).

Jamie completed his university degree in Chile where he grew up. In 1980, his first book was published on electrical wiring in residential, commercial, and industrial areas. He was then sponsored to work for a notable electrical company in the US and in 2013, became the founder of Jaime Electric, inc.

Office Manager – joined SWIS in 2019

Michael has a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland and has administrative and computer technology experience. SWIS Training Administrative Manager – joined SWIS in 2011

Jean Marie has over 30 years of IT and web-based training experience. She manages the SWIS Training Division and the SWIS Training Website.

Electrical Inspector and Master Electrician – joined SWIS in 2011

Fred studied Electrical Technology at Westchester Community College. Thereafter, he became the founder of Morello Electric, an electrical and construction company. Fred holds multiple licenses in New York and Connecticut and was later compelled to make a career change to fulfill his dedication to inspection safety.

Fred has been a certified IAEI (NCPCCI) electrical inspector for 35 years and is a Master Electrical Inspector. He is a member of the NFPA and IAEI, is a New York State Code Enforcement Official and presides as secretary-treasurer for the IAEI Westchester Chapter.

With over 40 years of experience in the electrical trade, Ron Troyer is a highly respected member of our inspection team. Ron holds numerous IAEI inspector certifications, including One & Two Family Dwellings, General, and Plan Review. His expertise extends to electrical safety compliance, as demonstrated by his NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) designation. Ron’s commitment to electrical safety is further demonstrated by his role as a certified NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E trainer.

Gregory Chach is an experienced Electrical Inspector at State Wide Inspection Services, Inc.

He began his career after graduating from Saunders Trade & Technical School in 1979 and joining IBEW Local 501/3 in 1981. For over two decades, Gregory co-owned C&G Electric Inc. in Armonk, NY. In 2000, he earned his Westchester County Master Electrical License, and a Connecticut E1 License in 2006.

After retiring from the IBEW in 2021, he gained further credentials from the IAEI in one- and two-family dwellings and general electrical inspections. Gregory brings a wealth of industry knowledge, a commitment to safety, and a focus on compliance. He also sits on the board of the Putnam County Electrical Contractors Association.

Diana received her Associates of Science degree from Bergen Community College.

Prior to joining the SWIS team she worked for Steinway & Sons, Paramus, for over 10 years as the Administrative Assistant.

Janice has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mercy College.

Prior to joining SWIS, she enjoyed a 32-year career with IBM. Janice provides all aspects of customer service and assists in all daily departmental operations.

Judy received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY New Paltz. She and her husband reside in Fishkill where they raised their 2 daughters. Judy worked as a bookkeeper at Butterfield Library in Cold Spring for 20 years before joining the Customer Support team at SWIS.
